On the upside, it is secure, reasonably priced to maintain, and is good value for money.

The Peugeot 107’s safety features include dual front, side, and curtain airbags, five three-point seatbelts, two Isofix child seat anchor points, and strong side and front impact protection, in addition to a top five-star Euro NCAP crash-test rating. Remote central locking with deadlocks, automatic locking once the car reaches 6 mph, and an immobiliser are important security features.

As is the case with most hatchbacks, the five-door is easier to get into than the three. There are a few cupholders, door bins, and an average-sized glovebox with sub-compartments. The boot is ordinary in size, with enough room for the weekly shop, but on the plus side, the seat backs can be folded down so that the boot floor is flat, with the backs of the seats.

The space in the back is moderate; there is just enough head and leg room for two adults, it might be a squeeze, especially on long distances, but it’s fine for a couple of kids. The seats are comfy, though and provide ample support.

With only a slight bit of engine noise when travelling at speed, it is generally quiet on the road. There isn’t much to complain about in terms of comfort for the Peugeot 201.

Running costs for the Peugeot 107 is not costly at all. Peugeot typically provides high-quality parts and services at reasonable prices, and diesel engines have outstanding fuel economy. While insurance groups are very low, depreciation is probably going to follow closely after the market leaders.
